هذا هو الجزء الثاني من كتاب نفاضة الجراب في علالة الاغتراب ((ومؤلفه هو الوزير والمؤرخ الغرناطي لسان الدين بن الخطيب (713- 776 هـ = 1313- 1376 م). وقد نص على ذلك هو نفسه في متن هذا الكتاب وفي بعض مؤلفاته الأخرى. كما أشار إلى ذلك أيضا بعض المؤرخين القدامى والمحدثين الذين سيأتي ذكرهم بعد ذلك. على أن المؤلف في كتابه هذا، لم يحدد لنا الزمان أو المكان الذي ألفه فيه وقد ورد في كتاب الإحاطة للمؤلف نفسه، عبارة –ورقة رقم 500) لا شك أنها من وضع الناسخ يقول فيها: ((من كتاب نفاضة الجراب لابن الخطيب المذكور رحمه الله، الذي ألفه بالعدوة (أي المغرب الأقصى) بعد صرفه عن الأندلس واستقراره بالعدوة آخرة من عمره وقرب وفاته، ولذلك سماه نفاضة الجراب)). وواضح من هذه العبارة أن ناسخ الإحاطة يريد أن يقول إن تأليف نفاضة الجراب حدث ببلاد المغرب في الفترة التي بين 773 – 776 هـ وهي الفترة الأخيرة من حياة ابن الخطيب التي انتهت بمقتله هناك بمدينة فاس. غير أن شواهد الأمور تدل دلالة قاطعة على أن تأليف هذا الكتاب كان في فترة أخرى متقدمة قضاها ابن الخطيب بالمغرب أيضا حينما نفي مع سلطانه المخلوع محمد الخامس الغني بالله وهي الفترة التي تمتد من سنة 760 إلى 763 هـ والأدلة على ذلك كثيرة ...
