ثم واصلت دراستها الأكاديمية الماجستير والدكتوراه وتُدرس حاليا الأدب المقارن بجامعة القاهرة صدرت لها مجموعة قصصية - واحدة - بعنوان "ريم البراري المستحيلة" وهي على مقاعد الدراسة الجامعية تبعتها بثلاث روايات صنفت كاهم الروايات التي صدرت خلال فترة التسعينيات هي "الخباء, الباذنجانة الزرقاء, نقرات الظباء", ترجمت أعمالها الى العديد من اللغات خاصة الإنجليزية والألمانية
