كتاب مدرسة فرانكفورت تأليف فيل سليتر مدخل قيم للنظرة النقدية أو ما يعرف بمدرسة فرانكفورت,وهو كتاب قيم جدا جامع وممتع,والان هاو يبدأ بالاعتراف الشجاع بانجذابه لها ,ثم يشرع فى التفصيل عن أعلامها وأبرز أفكارهم بداية من الآباء المؤسسين وتفاؤلهم واصطباغهم بصبغة ماركسية فرويدية,ثم جيل الوسط المتشائم الذى ذاع صيته أكثر مما سواه,ثم الجيل الحديث الذى طرح عنه رؤى جيل الوسط السلبى وصار أكثر اعتدالا,وهو يعرض الأفكار وينقدها فى براعة نقدا ذاتيا ,ويعرض الانتقادات التى أوردتها الفلسفات الأخرى فى براعة ,كما يشتمل على سرد خاص لشرح المصطلحات فى نهاية الكتاب, الترجمة عظيمة ولا تكاد تشعر أنه كتاب مترجم ,بل أنه مؤلف ومخلوق وهذه هى لغته الأم. والكاتب يورد أبرز المراجع عقب كل موضوع .
