مواجهات شرسة تلك التي وقعت بين السلفي والتنويري؛ لكنها، ولحسن الحظ، لم تتجاوز الإطار الفكري ولم يُستعمل فيها غير اللسان كسلاح.
مسرح هذه المقابلات الساخنة هو الكتاب الذي صدر مؤخرا للأستاذ عبد العزيز سعدي في طبعته الثانية بهذا العنوان "سَلَفي وتنويري وجها لوجه"؛ ذلك أن فصول الكتاب هي جولات الحوار المنفصلة التي تمت بين السلفي والتنويري؛ وقد دُونت مجريات كل جولة بأسلوب سهل يجمع بين اختصار المبنى ووضوح المعنى.
وإذا كان وجه غلاف الكتاب يعبر بالصورة عن الاختلاف الشكلي بين الطرفين، فإن ظهر الغلاف يبرز النزاع الفكري بالقول: " تتجاذب الشباب العربي حاليا ثلاثة تيارات أساسية: السلفية والإلحاد والتنوير. فما هي العلاقة الموجودة بين هذه التيارات الفكرية التي تصاعدت متزامنة بعد فترة كمون؟ من خلال مقابلة بين سَلَفي وتنويري، تظهر الانعكاسات السلبية للطرح السلفي على مواقف الشباب، فهي إما تغذية لمنابع الإرهاب وإما دفع إلى الإلحاد: ينصاع الأمي الغافل فيصبح إرهابيا، ويحترس المتعلم ويبتعد، هاربا بدينه الخالص إذا كان يفصل بين الدين والتدين، أو تاركا له إذا كان يعتقد أن ما رآه من السلفي هو صلب الدين".
وتُوظَّف في الكتاب الأحاديث النبوية بكثافة، فهي عموما مثار سجال فكري بين شباب تنويريين يلمزون بعضها وشيوخ سلفيين يستقبحون جرأتهم على التراث.
وحسب ما جاء في مقدمة الكتاب، يهدف المؤلف إلى إلقاء حجر في ماء راكد وفتح ملف شائك عبر عرض طرق التفكير الغريبة لبعض الفقهاء في تعاملهم مع التراث، خاصة ما استشكل من أحاديث وما أثير حولها من شبهات؛ ويتساءل إن كان رفع القدسية عن اجتهادات السلف الصالح يعتبر تجاوزا للمصادر الأصلية للدين الإسلامي. وغالبا ما كان السلفي يرد بلجوئه إلى التكفير والتهديد، ويتوعد بالتصدي لكل من يتمرد على فهم السلف بإعادة قراءة التراث، ويستقوي برموز السلفية الذين لهم صولات وجولات في الذود عن المرويات وإن كانت من الإسرائيليات.
