إن كثيرا من آليات التكوين العلمي تتعاطى مع عدد من العلوم الشرعية بطريقة الوحدات المستقلة التي لا تستحضر المكونات الأخرى التي ساهمت في تشكيل تلك العلوم، مما يربك عملية التعمق في بناء التصورات المتكاملة عنها.
ثمة حاجة ملحة أن يتوجه جزء من الاهتمام البحثي في الدراسات الشرعية لبحث مكونات العلوم الشرعية، وعلاقة كل واحد منها بالعلوم الأخرى، وما مدى تأثير الواقع الفكري الذي تشكَّلت فيه على طبيعة التناول العلمي لقضاياه؟
هذه الدراسة هي جزء من تلبية تلك الحاجة البحثية، تساهم من خلال إضافاتها العلمية الجديدة والجادة في بحث واحدة من تلك العلاقات الملتبسة والدقيقة كذلك؛ وهي العلاقة بين علم أصول الفقه وعلم المنطق، ففي سبيل تفهُّم علم الأصول لا بد من تفهُّم علاقته بالمكوِّن المنطقي الذي أثر فيه، وفي سبيل تفهُّم أثر هذا المكوِّن لابد من تحرير موقع علاقته بعلم الكلام والفلسفة، وهكذا في سلسلة من العلاقات المتداخلة.
مما يميز هذه الدراسة استحضارها البعد التاريخي في تشكل العلاقة بين المنطق والأصول، متى بدأت؟ وكيف تطورت؟ وما أشكال هذا التطور؟ وما موقف العلماء من علاقة علمية كهذه؟
