"أنا لا أهتم بالسياسة قدر اهتمامي بالعدالة" يقول هذا "فو" الذي يرفض دائماً أن يرتبط اسمه بأي حزب سياسي. وما يأمله من مسرحيته هو توريط الجمهور في الإحساس بالسخط ضد الظلم، وهو يفعل ذلك ليس عبر ما يشبه المنشورات السياسية، وإنما عبر تسلية تتصف بشيء من الرفعة والأناقة. ويبدأ فو المشهد كممثل جوال يحاول جمع حشد من المتقرصين في ساحة العراء، وهو يدور بجسده بحيوية عظيمة ويتحرك في فض "أنا لا أهتم بالسياسة قدر اهتمامي بالعدالة" يقول هذا "فو" الذي يرفض دائماً أن يرتبط اسمه بأي حزب سياسي. وما يأمله من مسرحيته هو توريط الجمهور في الإحساس بالسخط ضد الظلم، وهو يفعل ذلك ليس عبر ما يشبه المنشورات السياسية، وإنما عبر تسلية تتصف بشيء من الرفعة والأناقة. ويبدأ فو المشهد كممثل جوال يحاول جمع حشد من المتقرصين في ساحة العراء، وهو يدور بجسده بحيوية عظيمة ويتحرك في فضاء الساحة بنشاط كبير وكأنه طفل لا يحده شيء، ثم يصرخ منادياً جمهوره بنشوة وبسيل لا يتوقف من الكلمات المأخوذة من مختلف اللهجات الإيطالية.
ولكن ما أن ينجح في جذب انتباه الجمهور حتى يقطع فجأة سيل الكلمات والأصوات والحركات، ويخلق لحظة صمت من الاتصال الحميمي مع الجمهور من خلال النظر: "أنا لم ألف دوماً غرياراً" يخبرهم بلهجة اعتراف: "لقد كنت فلاحاً، مزارعاً، ولكني سأقص عليكم كيف حدث أني أصبحت غوياراً".
ويجسد فو لجمهورة في سلسلة من الاسترجاعات المسرحية "الفلاش باك" ذكرياته الأليمة حول الإهانات التي قاساها الفلاح على أيدي كل من أصحاب الأرض الفاسدين، ورجال الدين، وموظفي الحكومة البيروقراطيين هكذا يمضي المشهد إلى حين يغتصب صاحب الأرض ورجاله زوجة الفلاح، يتحدث المشهد أن يصبح قاتماً ومعبأ باليأس والاستسلام ويجدر الإشارة إلى أن داريو فو حاز على جائزة نوبل للعام 1997 في الآداب.
