وليس كلُّ هاوٍ سلطانًا!
فالقوة ليست قوة الجسد، والصبر لا يكمن في الانتظار؛ قوتك الحقيقية في ذكائك، والصبر لا يولد إلا بعد الرضا.
في عرين البدو المظلم، وتحت ليلٍ دَجِيّ، كان يلتقط أنفاسه بقوةٍ غير منتظمة، يتصبب العرق من كامل جسده؛ من جبينه الأسمر، الذي صاغه طقس البدو الحارق، حتى ذراعيه المكشوفتين، بلا رادع من كنزته الملتصقة بجسده.
وقف متحفزًا، ويداه تتسارعان بإيقاعٍ مدروس، تنهالان ضربًا على الثقل الذي أمامه، وعيناه السمراوان لا تحيدان عنه، بل تضيقان بترقّبٍ حاد… كأنها لحظة اقتناص، لا تمرينٌ عابر!
وفي الحقيقة، لم يكن تمرينًا عاديًا… ولا كان رجلًا عاديًا.
