ان الادمان ليس بالضرورة ان يكون شكلاً واحد بل متعدد فهو يأخذ طابع المادة الكيميائية تارة والطابع الفكري تارة اخرى والشعوري والسلوكي فكما ان هناك مدمن الخمر والمخدرات يتوافر نظيره ايضاً مدمن الشعور الغير مفسر بأسباب منطقية فهناك من يشعر بالحزن لا لأنه حزين بل لان الحزن بات يشكل هويته ويعطيه ابعادها النفسية ويحقق له شعوره بذاته وان هذه الانواع كلها تجتمع تحت مظلة واحدة هي مظلة الهرب ,الهرب من شيء معين يؤذي اعصابه الى اتجاه مضاد له اي الى المتعة والتكرار يجعل رسم الطريق العصبي متاح وسريع ومعروف بدقة كبيرة بحيث لا تحتاج الى تفكير وتتجاوز مرحلة التفكير الى التنفيذ فوراً في كل مرة يعترضك الامر ذاته من هنا ينبثق مسالة الادمان وصعوبة الترك
