حميد عقبي، كاتب وناقد، فنان تشكيلي ومخرج سينمائي ومسرحي يمني مقيم في باريس.
يعمل منذ سنوات على مشروع متعدد الحقول يدمج بين الأدب، والفنون البصرية، والسينما، والعمل الثقافي العام.
يكتب بعين سينمائية واضحة، وبلغة تمزج الحسّ التهامي اليمني بالخبرة العربية الواسعة، ويشتغل على موضوعات الذاكرة، المنفى، الهجرة الداخلية والخارجية، والهوامش الاجتماعية والثقافية.
أنجز عقبي عشرة أفلام قصيرة، وشارك بها في مهرجانات عربية وأوروبية، كما أقام عشرة معارض تشكيلية في باريس ومدينة كون ـ النورماندي، مقدّمًا رؤية بصرية تميل إلى التعبيرية، وتقاطعاتها مع الجسد والذاكرة والمكان.
في الأدب، يمتلك رصيدًا واسعًا يشمل:
ست مجموعات قصصية
ثمانية أعمال شعرية
تسعة عشر نصًا مسرحيًا
تسعة وعشرون نوفيلا، بينها سبع مكتوبة بتقنية خمسين فصلًا في مئة كلمة
ثلاثة عشر كتابًا في النقد السينمائي
خمسة عشر كتابًا في النقد الأدبي
تُرجمت بعض كتبه ونصوصه لعدة لغات كالإنجليزية والألمانية والفرنسية.
له ديوان ربما الخلل في نجومنا مترجم للألماني ورواية الشجرة الأم مترجمة للإنجليزية وأربع نصوص مسرحية للإنجليزية وكذلك كتاب نقدي تُرجم أيضًا للإنجليزية.
نشر ثلاثة كتب باللغة الفرنسية.
نشر ثلاثة كتب نصوص سيناريو لأفلام طويلة غير منفذة.
أسّس ويرأس المنتدى العربي الأوروبي للسينما والمسرح، الذي بات منصة فاعلة للتواصل الثقافي بين المبدعين العرب والوسط الفني الأوروبي، وقدم عبره مئات الندوات والأمسيات والحوارات النقدية.
يميل عقبي في فنه وكتابته إلى التجريب، سواء في البناء الروائي، أو في اللغة، أو في مقاربة السرد بوصفه مساحة للحفر في الذات الفردية والجماعية. لا ينتمي إلى مدرسة واحدة، لكنه يتنقل بين الأجناس بروح باحث وفضول شاعر، ويعتمد في أعماله على صوت إنساني قريب من الناس، وعلى رغبة في كشف المناطق المهملة من الوجدان اليمني والعربي.
تقوم تجربته على فكرة أساسية:
أن الثقافة فعل مقاومة، وأن الإبداع يمكنه أن يفتح نافذة صغيرة في وجه العتمة، مهما كانت قاسية.
له قناة ثقافية نشطة على يوتيوب، تتوفر فيها مئات المواد الثقافية والإبداعية وأنشطة المنتدى العربي الأوروبي للسينما والمسرح.

Hamid Oqabi

Hamid Oqabi is a Yemeni writer and critic, visual artist, and film and theatre director based in Paris. For many years, he has been working on a multidisciplinary project that brings together literature, visual arts, cinema, and cultural practice.
He writes with a distinctly cinematic eye and a language that blends the Tehami Yemeni sensibility with a broad Arab cultural experience. His work often explores themes of memory, exile, internal and external migration, and social and cultural margins.
Oqabi has directed ten short films that have been screened at Arab and European festivals. He has also held ten visual art exhibitions in Paris and in Caen, Normandy, presenting an expressive visual approach that intersects with the body, memory, and place.
In literature, his body of work includes:
• Six short story collections
• Eight poetry books
• Nineteen theatrical texts
• Twenty-nine novels, including seven written using the “50 chapters × 100 words” technique
• Thirteen books on film criticism
• Fifteen books on literar

« Cécile » est le scénario d’un film audacieux non réalisé, écrit par Hamid Oqabi, qui explore avec une profondeur visuelle et psychologique les zones de tension entre liberté et contrôle, entre le corps et l’esprit, entre la mère et la fille, au cœur d’une société occidentale vivant sous l’ombre de la peur de l’autre… et de l’explosion intérieure de l’individu.
L’histoire suit Cécile, une jeune Française issue d’une famille libérée, sans religion, qui décide brusquement de bouleverser sa vie : elle s’habille de manière pudique, s’éloigne de ses amis, arrête l’alcool et le porc, et se retire d’un monde de plaisirs pour entrer dans un univers de silence et de réflexion. Ce changement brutal suscite l’inquiétude de tous, de sa mère libertine qui la croit devenue folle, jusqu’à l’État qui commence à la suspecter et à la traiter comme une future « extrémiste ».
En miroir, il y a Salma, une jeune musulmane étouffée dans une famille conservatrice, rêvant de liberté, mais vite désignée comme la responsable du changement de son amie.
« Cécile » est une œuvre qui interroge, dérange et éclaire :
Peut-on devenir prisonnier de sa propre liberté ?
Laisse-t-on vraiment aux femmes le choix de leur chemin, qu’il mène vers le voile ou vers le plaisir ?
Et pourquoi le changement intérieur nous effraie-t-il tant ?
Avec une langue cinématographique vibrante et un scénario riche en symboles et en tensions, Hamid Oqabi peint une fresque humaine troublante, lucide et actuelle. Une œuvre qui dépasse les dualismes simplistes et ouvre un dialogue sincère sur le corps, la religion, la maternité, le désir et la violence sociale.
Un texte miroir, un film vivant en puissance, dans une France et une Europe où montent les extrêmes… menaçant notre humanité même.
