في قرية نائية بين الجبال، وُجدت مرآة قديمة في بيت منسي، قيل إن من تنظر فيها ترى “كل نساء العالم” داخلها. لم تكن مرآة عادية، بل كانت تعكس وجوهًا مختلفة، حكايات وملامح وقصصًا من زمن بعيد.
ذات يوم، دخلت فتاة تُدعى “ليلى” ذلك البيت صدفة، تبحث عن شيء يروي فضولها. اقتربت من المرآة، وما إن نظرت فيها حتى لم ترَ انعكاسها، بل رأت امرأةً تمشط شعرها الأسود على ضوء القمر. قالت لها المرأة:
“أنا جدتك الكبرى، كنتُ أقاتل من أجل التعليم حين كانت الكتب محرّمة علينا”.
ثم تلاها وجه آخر، امرأة تلبس درعًا من الحديد، تمسك سيفًا بيد وقلبًا بيد. قالت:
“أنا من وقفت بين جيوش الظلم لتحمي قريتها وأطفالها”.
ثم ظهرت أخرى، أمّ تُرضع طفلها بيد، وتكتب باليد الأخرى على دفترٍ ممزق. قالت:
“أنا التي صنعت الحروف من التعب، لأجعل لأطفالي غدًا لا يشبه أمسي”.
رأت ليلى وجوهًا كثيرة: عاملة في مصنع، شاعرة في زنزانة، قائدة قبيلة، طاهية في كوخ، معلمة في خيمة… وكل واحدةٍ تهمس لها بجزء من القصة، من القوة، من الحنان، من الصبر، من الثورة.
حين انتهت الرؤى، رأت ليلى وجهها أخيرًا، لكنّه كان مزيجًا من كل النساء.
فهمت حينها أن المرأة ليست واحدة، بل أجيالًا من الأرواح المتشابكة، وأنها، مثل كل النساء، تحمل مرآة في قلبها تعكس العالم كما يمكن أن يكون
