الاوزون غاز يتكون الجزيء منه من ثلاثة ذرات من الاكسجين .
ويوجد الاوزون في طبقه الجو السفلي "التروبوسفير" والعليا "الاستراتوسفير"
وتعد طبقه الاوزون ضرورية لحمايه الحياه على سطح الارض وهي تعمل كمرشح طبيعي يمتص الأشعة فوق البنفسجية التي تدمر الكثير من اشكال الحياه وتلحق اضرار بالغه بصحه الانسان والاوزون ذو فاعليه عالية في اباده الجراثيم وقتل البكتيريا والفيروسات والطفيليات ومن اجل هذا فانه يستخدم في:
معالجه مياه الشرب والمياه الصناعية
وفي تعليب الاسماك
وتعقيم المأكولات
يدور الحديث بين احمد ووالده عن غاز الاوزون واهميته على الحياه على وجه الارض في صوره حوا ريه شيقة وممتعه ومفيدة.
