لسنا بخير ولم نكن كذلك أبداً، وكلما نعالج أمراً، تخدشنا قوانين الحياة خدشاً.. أصبحنا نسيرُ ونحن ممتلئون نزفاً لم يكن ليتوقف..
رواية ( الأحمر ليس دماً ) تكشط كل تلك الأقنعة الزائفة التي نصبناها على أوجهنا.. وأصبحنا بمظهر المهرج المبتسم ملئ شدقيه طوال الوقت، وصاحبه ينز دموعاً، لا يشعر به أحد، ومطلوب منه مواصلة تسليتنا طالما يشعر بتلك السعادة الظاهرة على محياه.
إنها رواية تجمع بين دقة الرسالة وتعقيدات شبكة واسعة من العلاقات الواضحة التي ستتعامل معها دون أي تشتت. وسترى بأنه عمل يشدك من بعد مرور خمس أو عشر صفحات، وستسري فيك مجرى الدم، وتتدفق بداخلك ولا تجعلك تريد الانفكاك عنها حتى وإن قررت التخلي..
إنها رواية تحكي عن حقبة عاشها أهالي قطاع غزة، هذه الحقبة يكتنفها كثير من التزييف والإخفاء المتعمد للحقائق.
لكن رغم ذلك علينا أن نكن على موثوقية بأن الكتابة لا تعكس كامل الحقيقة، فالواقع دائماً أكثر حدة.
