الحمد لله الحييِّ الرّحيم، والصّلاة والسّلام على من كان أشدّ حياءً من العذراء في خدرها، وعلى آله الطّيّبين الطاهرين وصحبه الغرّ الميامين، وبعد:
فهذه خمسون عبرةً من القصّة المشهورة لنبيّ الله موسى عليه السّلام مع الفتاتين وأبيهما في مدين، كنت قد جمعت بعضها لمّا كتبت قصيدتي "تمشي على استحياء" والّتي وضعتها بعد نهاية العبر في آخر هذا الكتاب، وأثناء ذلك وقع في خاطري بعض العبر الأخرى في هذه القصّة، فدوّنت بعضها، وبقي الآخر في ذهني، فعزمت على أن أقيّدها كلّها بالكتابة، فوصلتْ إلى أكثر من خمسين عبرةً، ولكنّي اقتصرت على خمسين عبرةً بعد أن اختصرت الأحكام الّتي استنبطها الفقهاء من هذه الآيات في عبرةٍ واحدةٍ، فإنّ ابن العربي -رحمه الله- قد استنبط من آيةٍ واحدةٍ ثلاثين مسألة.
وقد عزمت بعد ذلك على طباعتها في كتابٍ، عسى أن ينفعني الله به في دنياي وآخرتي، وأن ينفع بها القارئ الكريم، وقد أسميته "تمشي على استحياءٍ"؛ لأنّ أغلب العبر ارتبطت بالفتاة الّتي جاء تمشي على استحياءٍ إلى موسى عليه السّلام، واللهَ أسأل أن يجعله خالصًا لوجهه الكريم، إنّه هو الموفّق والهادي إلى سواء السّبيل.
