يتوجه هذا الكتاب نحو قارئه بوصفه أطروحةً على مستوى التأسيس والرؤية، فعلى مستوى التأسيس يسعى إلى اجتراح مفهوم الكتابة والأثر انطلاقاً من استراتيجية التفكيك أو شعرية الخطاب المفتوح، وعلى مستوى الرؤية يسعى إلى بناء تصوّر للشعر قائم على تفكيك منطق الشبه والإحالة، وميتافيزيقا الحضور، وهو ما يعني اللعب على الدال الذي لا ينتج سوى الأثر. وهذا كله نابع من طبيعة الكتابة، إذ إنّ الكتابة على وفق هذا التصور الجديد لم يعد من الممكن أن ننظر إليها على أنها ترجمة لكلام حاضر وممتلئ قائم في عمقه على الاحتفاء بسلطة اللوغوس، ليستنسخ هذا الأخير ذاته في كل مرة بوصفه حقيقة مطلقة، وإنما النظر إليها بوصفها أثرا، وليس استعادة حقيقية للأصل، لأنّ هذا الأخير ليس سوى لعبةٍ للحضور.
