تضعُ هذه المجموعة القصصية القارئ في عوالم رمزية تحتفي بالهامشِ والمنسيِّ وما اعتادت العين الإنسانيّة المعاصرة، التي فقدت الكثير من الإبصار و رهافة النّظر، رُأيته مألوفاً وعادياً وبسيطاً جدّاً. مع جعل الغياب أهمّ المنطلقات الرّئيسية لبناء المعنى المنطوي على دلاليّة خصبة وثريـة.
