الكتاب اللي بين إيديك عبارة عن مجموعة حكايات اتكتبت على مدار 3 سنين من 2020 إلى 2023، وهو توثيق لِرحلتي في كتابة القصص التَّاريخية، حاولت فيها على قدر الإمكان أنها تكون مُبسطة، وعرض القصة كما كتبها المؤرخون، لكن بأسلوب مختلف عن القصص التَّوثيقية.
وزي ما لاحظت عزيزي القارئ، لغة الكتابة عامية، وهو أسلوب انتهجته في الكتابة؛ وده لأني حِكاواتية، خرجت القصص التَّاريخية من عباءة التَّوثيقيات، وقوالب علل ووضح الأسباب والنَّتائج، وغلفتها في سوليفانة الحدوتة المصرية البسيطة بطريقة أمهاتنا وجداتنا زمان في الحكي، وفي نفس الوقت مجمعة كل جوانب الحدوتة فيها.
الكتاب عن قصص وحواديت وحكايات حصلت في مصر من عصور مختلفة، يعني هتلاقي حكايات من مصر القديمة وحكايات من العصر الإسلامي وحكايات من مصر الحديثة والمعاصرة، ومنها هنشوف معدن المصري وطبيعة تكوين شخصيته، وإيه اللي اختلف فيه وإيه اللي فضل ثابت، وكمان هنعرف إيه هي الحكايات اللي ورا بعض أسماء مناطق في مصر.
الكتاب بكل حواديته المختلفة الحلوة أو السَّيئة، لا يربط بينهم حاجة غير حب مصر، وده عشان مصر هي أرض الكنانة، جاءت مصر ثم كتب التَّاريخ، مصر أرض الحضارة.
