نبذة عن الكتاب:
"الجريمة المثالية" عبارة عن مجموعة قصصية مكونة من 13 قصة كتبها لويجي كابوانا نُشرت عام 1902 وتشترك في موضوع الغموض، سواء كان ذلك يتعلق بالأرواح أو الوجود الغريب أو الشخصيات المراوغة، مثل الشاب الذي يتظاهر بأنه ساخر ربما لإخفاء مشاعره الحساسة. الروح، أو المرأة الرائعة التي ربما تكون مجرد نوع من الحلم أو الرؤية. ومن المواضيع الأخرى الحاضرة جداً موضوع الأقدار والإيحاء، بالإضافة إلى موضوع الصراع في العلاقة بين الزوجين وعواقبه، و أحياناً حزنية وأحياناً مأساوية أحياناً، وكان لويجي كابوانا من أحد أهم دعاة فيريزمو الإيطالية. ولد في مينيو (كاتانيا) عام 1839 لعائلة من ملاك الأراضي. أجرى دراساته القانونية في البداية، لكنه سرعان ما تركها ليتفرغ للصحافة، ثم للأدب لاحقًا. انتقل من مينيو إلى ميلانو، ثم إلى فلورنسا وروما، حيث كان يتردد على البيئات الثقافية الأكثر ديناميكية. ثم انتقل بشكل دائم إلى صقلية، حيث قام بالتدريس في جامعة كاتانيا، بالتناوب بين التدريس وعمله ككاتب وناقد. توفي في 29 نوفمبر 1915 في كاتانيا ودُفن في مينيو.
