English Renaissance Poetry, has been primarily written to meet the need of Arab university students whose native language is not English and who do not have any previous sound knowledge of English language and literature. The author aims at providing students with materials which, he believed, are extremely important to fill the gap between secondary schools and university education. The book studies the boetry of the most prominent figures of the ear, namely, Wyatt, Surrey, Sidney, Spenser, Marlowe, Drayton, Shakespeare, Jonson, Donne, Herbert, Vaughan and Milton.
