Praise be to God. We praise Him and thank him, and we acknowledge our sins and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Him from the evils of our souls and from our bad deeds. He who is guided by God is really well-guided, and he who chooses to go astray, will not be guided to the straight path.
History is a school with a scientific and educational method, it is never mere stories or anecdotes for entertainment. We should study history to derive wisdom and good lessons that would help us to adapt to life mentally and psychologically in an attempt to change towards the better.
There may be in the Quran stories other than those I have chosen to present in this book. I have omitted them, not out of negligence, but in order to avoid repetition and boredom.
