نویسنده درباره این كتاب می فرماید: هدفم در اين رساله اين بود كه ثابت كنم مكتب اهل بيت، مكتب شرك نيست بلكه توحيد خالص است و هر كه در اين مكتب درس بخواند موحد است، و هيچ فردي حق ندارد پيروان علي عليه السلام را به شرك متهم كند. در اين رساله ثابت مي كنم كه علي عليه السلام از شرك بيزار بود پس من شيعه، علي عليه السلام وار از شرك متنفرم و اگر پيرو واقعي امام علي عليه السلام باشم رستگار خواهم شد همان گونه كه برادر سني ام اگر از سنت پيامبر پيروي كند رستگار مي شود، و به تمام آنان كه شيعه را مكتب شرك مي خوانند، مي گوييم كه اگر ايرادي است بر من وارد است نه بر مكتب شيعه، و به راستي كه بد عمل كردن من و عوام شيعه مكتب اهل بيت را بد نام كرده است، و هر چه عالمان شيعه داد مي زنند كه مكتب تشيع را بدنام نكنيد مگر به گوش دكان داران دين فروش و غلامان حلقه به گوش و شيادان مي رود، همان گونه كه ايرادات مسلمانان نبايد به نام اسلام نوشته شود، اشتباهات من شيعه ي فاصله گرفته از مكتب تشيع حقيقي نبايد به نام اين مكتب نوشته شود
