إنَّ الصلاةَ هي عمادُ الدينِ، من أقامَها فقد أقامَ الدينَ، ومن هدمَها فقد هدمَ الدينَ، وهي العهدُ الذي بيننا نحن المسلمينَ وبينَ الكافرينَ، فمن تركَها فقد كفر، وهي أوَّلُ ما يُحاسبُ عليه الإنسانُ يومَ القيامةِ، فإن صلحت صلحَ سائرُ عملِه، وإن فسدت فسدَ سائرُ عملِه.
وبناءً على ذلكَ كلِّه فإنَّ المسلمَ لا بُدَّ أن يهتمَّ بصلاتِه اهتمامًا بالغًا، ويعتني بها اعتناءً فائقًا، ويلمَّ بجوانبِ فقهِها إلمامًا يُعينُه على أدائِها على الوجهِ الذي أمرَ اللهُ بهِ، وبيَّنَه نبيُّه الكريمُ صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم.
وقد رأينا أن نجمعَ ما تيسَّرَ لنا من فقهِ الصَّلاةِ معروضًا بصورةِ سؤالٍ وجوابٍ، لعلَّها تكونُ أيسرَ على المتلقِّي، لتُعينَه في الوصولِ لإجاباتٍ شافيةٍ لما قد يعرضُ له من تساؤلاتٍ.
وقد حاولنا - في سعينا للتيسيرِ على طالبِ العلمِ- أن نقتصرَ على ما اتَّفقَ عليه الجمهورُ، أو ما رجَّحه أهلُ العلمِ المعتبرونَ، بغيرِ تفصيلٍ مملٍّ، ولا اختصارٍ مُخلٍّ، إلَّا في بعضِ المسائلِ التي اختلفَ فيها الفقهاءُ اختلافًا لا ترجيحَ فيه لكفَّةٍ على الأخرى.
