يحكي كتابنا هذا قصة الربيع العربي وتحديدا قصة الربيع الليبي، الذي تحول إلى صيف حارق، بفعل عدو الشعب معمر الذي لم يعرف من السياسة والحكم إلا السحق والمحق حتى جعل شعبه يطلب الموت ويكره الحياة في ذل ورعب وفقر وكل ما عرف الإنسان من الشرور. ولجأ الليبيون لربهم فكان خير ناصر لهم بحيث في ستة أشهر سقطت راية الظلم ولما أكملت الثورة ثمانية أشهر انهار الصنم بتفريغ الجيوب المتبقية من رفاق الشر، وطهر البلد رغم كل ما تلى ذلك من مآسي لا علاقة لرجال الله بها وذنبهم الزُهد في السلطان.
