تتخذ الشاعرة طرفة عبد العزيز من الحرف استراتيجية نصية للتدوين وتطريز النص في «وعثاء حرف» وهي مجموعة (نصوص) تقدم من خلالها الشاعرة أنموذجاً من الجنس الكتابي يخترق أجناساً في الشعر، يستنتج القارئ لصيغه تحولات قصيدة النثر ضمن معايير رؤيوية وكتابة شعرية حرة تتخطى المعيارية؛ لهذا فالكتابة هنا تمتلك هويتها الشخصية وخصائصها التحولية والتحديثية، ومن خلال الفحص الدقيق للنص الحروفي عند طرفة عبد العزيز نعثر على منظومة من مهيمنات الخطاب الشعري التي تأتي في سياقات تحديثية، تزدهر معها المعاني والإيحاءات القادرة على استيعاب خصوصيات الشاعرة/ الأنثى بشكل أو بآخر، وبوجود اللغة الحيّة تقول الشاعرة ما لا تستطيع الحياة قوله؛ لنقرأ النص المعنون بـ (ذكرى...):
"أي ذكرى عابرة تخطف العقل فجأة../ ضاربة عرض الحائط كل تلك الأجواء المحيطة!!/ ذكرى الألم!! تختنق بالحنين/ تُحوّل الحاضر إلى (حروفاً من نيران الذكريات)/ لتعصر بداخلك كل الأشياء/ فتحولها إلى (بحراً من دموع)/ تبوح له!!/ تخبره بالأنين!!/ وعندما تنتهي../ تَتمتم: (لم يحدث شيء)/ يتوقف سيل الألم ذلك، عاصفة الاجتياح!!/ وتكتَب باعتصار:/ (انتهى الألم.. تصبح على خير)".
