في عمل يُعد الأول من نوعه -وبمناسبة الملتقى السنوي لشعراء القصيدة الحسينية في العراق الذي يُعقد في النجف الأشرف تحت خيمة أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام وبرعايته- قام ثلة من الشعراء الحسينيين في النجف الأشرف بإصدار كتاب [وصايا للشعراء] والذي يتضمن كلمات بعض الأعلام والأساتذة والخطباء في الحوزة العلمية في النجف الأشرف لشعراء القصيدة الحسينية، والتي كان أكثرها خلال محاضراتهم في الملتقى السنوي في الأعوام الماضية.
كما يتضمن الكتاب بعض ما ورد في الروايات المباركة حول فضل قول الشعر في النبي وأهل البيت عليهم السلام، وبعض إرشاداتهم للشعراء، مضافاً لبعض القصص النافعة.
