أحداث هذه الرواية خيالية وإن تشابهت مع الواقع فى بعض التفاصيل فهى من قبيل الصدفة الفنية أو الخيال الادبى ..عن الأشخاص المطحونين ورجال الاعمال الفاسدين ..اتخذ الكاتب من مدينته مسرحا للأحداث التي مرت بها الإسكندرية فى زمان لم يحدد فى الروايه ( عن قصد ) ولكن يطفو على السطح أحداث احتلال العراق للكويت وحديث الرئيس الامريكى انها ستكون حربا مقدسة دفع ثمنها آلاف الضحايا غير ما نعانيه الى اليوم من تقسيم للدول خلاف المعاناة الاقتصاديه والاجتماعيه التي تلت تلك الحروب .
