ياسمين ثابت مصرية الجنسية من الأسكندرية ولدت في 7 اكتوبر 1987 تخرجت من كلية الفنون الجميلة قسم الديكور عام 2009 تحب القراءة والتأليف فازت في مسابقة الرسم بالكلمات للشعر الخاصة بمكتبة الاسكندرية فازت بالمركز الثاني في مسابقة التكية الرمضانية للقصص القصيرة وتم نشر ثلاث قصص قصيرة لها في كتاب بعنوان فرصة أخيرة للموت الصادر عن دار أكتب في معرض الكتاب يناير 2013.

فقط أنا وهو، بعيدان عن أي شيء وكل شيء، بعيدان حتى عن أرواحنا القديمة، فقط أتنفس عشقه حد الثمالة، عشقًا أروع من أي قصائد تخيلتها، إلى النخاع ذائبة أنا فيه، حد الموت كان يعشقني، حتى أنه أقسم أنه قد يفعل أي شيء وكل شيء كي لا أفارقه، كي لا تنتهي قصتنا التي ولدت منذ سنوات، قبل حتى أن أدري بها، لم أكن أعرف وقتها أنه بار بقسمه، وأنه ما كان معسول كلام قد دفعه الهوى للنطق به، صادق بالحد الذي أعشقه، وبالحد الذي يرعبني أيضًا!!
