بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام على أشرف الأنبياء والمرسلين، نبينا محمد، وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين. أما بعد:
في زمنٍ مضى، كان الإنسان يحمل في قلبه من النبل ما يفوق الكلمات، ومن الحكمة ما يُغني عن الشعارات. كانوا يمشون على الأرض بثبات، لا تزعزعهم الرياح ولا تغريهم الزيف. كانت القيم مرساهم، والصدق دليلهم، والكرامة تاجًا لا يُخلع.
هكذا كانوا...
جيلٌ من نور، لا يُقاس بالسنوات بل بالمواقف. لا يُعرَف بالأسماء بل بالأثر. تركوا لنا إرثًا من المعاني، لا من الممتلكات.
أما نحن...
فنقف اليوم أمام مرآة التاريخ، نحدّق في وجوهنا المتغيرة، نبحث عن ملامحهم فلا نجدها. نُشبههم في الشكل، لكننا نختلف في الجوهر. نحن لم نكن مثلهم، ولكن هل يمكن أن نكون؟
كيف نكون مثلهم؟
نعود إلى الصدق حين يغيب، ونتمسك بالحق حين يُنسى، ونُحيي فينا ما مات من القيم. أن نكون مثلهم لا يعني أن نقلّدهم، بل أن نستلهم منهم ما يعيد لإنسانيتنا معناها، ولأيامنا قيمتها.
هذا الكتاب ليس رثاءً للماضي، بل دعوة للتأمل، وإرادة للتغيير. ليس جلدًا للذات، بل محاولة لفهم ما ضاع، وما يمكن استعادته.
فهل نملك الشجاعة لنكون مثلهم؟ أم سنكتفي بالحديث عنهم من بعيد، كأنهم أسطورة لا تُعاد؟
