عن قصة هذا الكتاب:
فإني، وخلال وجودي في سجون الاحتلال، كنت ألقي كثيرًا من المحاضرات على إخواني الأسرى خلال منهاجنا الثقافي، وكنت حريصًا على معالجة بعض الأخطاء في التفكير والإدارة، وعلى نقل التجارب الإيجابية للأجيال اللاحقة، وأثناء ذلك كنت أستلهم من دروس أبي – رحمه الله – الشيء الكثير، فكثيرون هم الذين يمرون في هذه الدنيا، ولكن قلةً منهم تترك أثرًا يلمسه الناس بعدهم، وقد كان أبي – رحمه الله – من هؤلاء القلة، وقد أحببت أن أُفرد أبرز الدروس الحياتية التي تلقيتها منه في هذا الكتاب تسجيلًا لهذه التجربة، ووفاءً له، ونشرًا للفائدة، ولتعميم هذه الأفكار، والتي أظن أن الكثيرين سيجدون فيها فائدة ومتعة.
