الثلاثية هي قصة طويلة متسلسلة، منفصلة الأحداث، متصلة الأبطال، إذ تنتمي لفن الواقعية السحرية استخدم فيها الكاتب تقنية تصوير المشاهد سرياليا في توليفة خاصة بحيث توحّد عالم الحلم والخيال في واقع مطلق. وهي- في ذلك- مستوحاة من الموروث الديني للرسالات الألوهية الثلاث، ومن أخبار التاريخ التي وصلتنا حتى الآن. تُصنف ثلاثية قلادة العهد أنها من نوع الأدب البوليسي، والسياسي العالمي، والفانتازيا التاريخية، وأدب نقد الدين، إلى جانب أدب الرحلات، والسفر عبر سلسلة مغامرات، تسبر الأغوار، وتكشف الأسرار، بينما تربط الحاضر بالماضي، وتمزج الواقع بالخيال، وتمنحنا قدرًا من التنبؤ بالمستقبل، المبني على إدراك الحقيقة، ومعرفة التاريخ الصحيح، ذلك الذي يُواجِه -حاليًا- أعتى حملات التزييف والتغييب، لم يسبق لها مثيل في العصر الحديث
