به بحث درباره نحوه تقسیم ارث بر اساس فقه اسلامی و مسایل و شرایط خاص آن میپردازد. نویسنده در آغاز كتاب، تعریفی اجمالی از علم میراث ارائه داده و سپس به شناخت موضوع ارث، اهمیت آن در شریعت اسلامی و حكم این علم در شرع مقدس اشاره میكند. وی در ادامه، اركان ارث و مفاهیم آن را توصیف كرده و سپس به توضیح شرایط ارث و تقسیم آن میپردازد و آنگاه، بیشترین حقوقی را كه تَرَكه میت وارد میشود، توضیح میدهد. از دیگر موضوعات بحث شده در كتاب میتوان به موارد ذیل اشاره نمود: موانع ارث، معرفی زنان وارث، تعصیب، اكدریه، حُجب، بیان مناسخه و بیان ردّ و مستحقانِ آن.
