وكشفتُ صدري، فاندهشْ
وسكبتُ مائي، فارتعشْ
ونثرتُ قلبي في الطريقِ
فصاحَ: ما هذا العطشْ؟
الحب، يا ولدي الحبيبَ، الحبُّ لا ملكٌ ولا شيطانْ
