يوسف شاب مهندس ناجح جداً في عمله وخدمته الكنسية. وقع في حب نادين، الفتاة الهادئة التي دخلت حياته وملأت قلبه، وتزوجها.
تعلّق بها تعلقًا مفرطًا حتى أصبحت مركز اهتمامه العاطفي الوحيد، وبدأ ينسى الله، شيئًا فشيئًا، دون وعي.
تفاقم الصراع حين أُصيبت نادين بسرطان الغدد اللمفاوية. بدأ يوسف رحلة الألم معها، لكنه لم يدرك أنه لا يقاتل فقط من أجلها، بل من أجل إيمانه الذي بدأ يضعف، وتعلقه الذي تجاوز الحد.
