رأيت القتلة في حلمي البارحة،
ركضوا خلفنا بنفس الطريقة،
الجرح يطاردنا، هربنا ولم يغادرنا لسرعته
في المرة الأولى نَجَونا عبر سوريا بعد أن تعرضنا للخطف والجوع والرعب،
لا أدري لحد الآن كيف تم ذلك، ما بين الحين والحين أعتقد أن الله كان معنا، وفعل شيئاً ما لينقذنا،
لكن في الحلم لم ننجُ،
في الحلم لم يكن هناك الله.
