يسدل الستار ..وتكتب كلمة النهاية .
يالها من لحظات مروعة.. تمر بطيئة علي الجميع ..بطء الدهر ..إنه آخر مشهد..المشهد الذي يعلق في ذاكرة كل من يتجول بين سطور هذه الرواية ، حيث تأتي الروح مسرعة كالسهم لتفتح الستار ثانية بعد أن تزيل وتمحو كلمة النهاية ، التي بدورها تهرب فزعة مذعورة للتتلاشي وتختفي من فوق الستار كأنها لم تكن ، فتقرر تلك الروح عدم الإنصياع لملك الموت الذي أصدر الأمر للروح بالصعود إلي السماء.
تأبي الروح أن تفارق جسد ذلك المسكين حتي ترد إليه بعضا من كرامة أهدرت وأحلام تكسرت علي صخرة جبروت أحد فجار هذا الزمان .
تعاند الروح القدر .. فياتري .. لمن تكون الغلبة واليد الطولي ؟ .. ألملك الموت أم لروح متمردة رافضة لمغادرة ذاك الجسد النحيل الذي سمعت صرخاته الأجنة في بطون أمهاتهم.
روح تقرر الإنتقام لصاحبها قبل أن تصعد وتفارقه الي السماء.
كم هو غامض و مثير هذا العالم .. عالم الأرواح ...
