الكتاب عبارة عن مجموعة خواطر باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية تمت كتابتهم على فترات متباعدة وتصف بعض من مواقف الحياة بأسلوب الشعر والخواطر، ما يميز هذه الخواطر هو احتواؤها على تشبيهات ضمنية ومعاني ضمن السطور. في حين تم جمهعم وتصميمهم بالإستعانة بمصممة إماراتية تحت رخصة إنطلاق بإسم The Gifted، مما أضفى على معاني المحتوى بعداً آخر. يخاطب الكتاب كافة الأعمار ويلمس بعض من ذكريات القراء في مختلف قصصه ومواقفه التي استندت عليها الخواطر.
سبب تسميتي للكتاب "ميراج" هو نقل فكرة السراب حينما يظن الإنسان أنه يرى شيئاً بعينيه يتوق له أو يخيل إليه وجوده، ليصبح بعد التقرب منه شيئاً لم يكن، وتصبح عينيه الشاهد عليه إن لم يحكم عقله والبيئة المحيطة به وقت الحكم على الأمور بالظاهر.
كما أود الإعتذار عن إرفاق نسخة PDF من الكتاب وذلك نظراً لأنه الكتاب الأساسي الذي أود نشره من حيث التصميم الذي يحاكي النص ويضفي عليه معنى جمالي محفز للقراءة، وعليه أرجو التفضل بإلقاء نظرة عليه حيث أنه يشابه ملف WORD ولكن أسهل وأرتب في القراءة. أرجو شاكرةً أن يحيز الكتاب إعجابكم.
ملاحظة للتفضل بالعلم: اسم (أمتاف) هو كلمة فاطمة باللغة الإنجليزية ولكن معكوسة فتصبح: FATMA = AMTAF
