تُعد مسرحية "البطاقة الحمراء" للكاتب ضرغام عبد الرحمن الجابري توثيقاً درامياً لـ "وجع العراقيين" خلال حقبة النظام البائد، حيث كانت الألوان والتقارير الأمنية تقرر مصائر البشر. يسلط النص الضوء على معاناة صاحب هذه البطاقة التي حولت حياته وحياة عائلته إلى سجن مفتوح، وهمشته وجودياً ليصبح مجرد "معاملة" أو "سطر مشطوب" سحقته جرة قلم موظف. ومن خلال شخصية (س) الملفوفة بملابس رثة وملف أصفر مهترئ، يجسد العمل صرخة احتجاجية ضد زمن "الإعدام المدني" والخوف الذي سكن الذاكرة، مؤكداً أن هذا الوجع ليس مجرد خيال مسرحي بل هو صوت لأولئك الذين سحقهم الحبر وحولهم إلى حطب للنسيان.
