إذا ظهر خلاف العلماء بين الناس وانتشر كان هذا سبًبا في الانطباع السيئ عند الناس؛ فيظنون أن الشريعة مضطربة أو غير واضحة، ولم يدركوا أن هناك فرقاً بين الشرع واجتهاد المفتي، فالشريعة نزلت من الله سبحانه بحكم واحد، وإنما الاختلاف في فهم العالم للنص؛ لذلك يوجد إجماعات بين العلماء وأقوال متفق عليها، لأنه لا مجال لفهم نصوصها بغير مراد الله، أما إذا كان النص يحتمل أكثر من وجه، فهنا يحدث الخلاف في أفهام المفتين، فليس
الاختلاف في الشريعة.
ولهذا السبب كتبت هذه الرسالة، وحاولت تسهيل عبارتها بغاية الإمكان؛ حتى تكون نافعة لغير المتخصص ومراجعة للمتخصص، وحاولت الإكثار من ضرب الأمثلة، خاصة في العبادات؛ لسهولتها
ولانتشارها بين المسلمين.
