بدأ أوكامي يتذكر ذكرياته البئيسة وهو يبكي ، و يحدث الفيران قائلا لهم : كانت عمتي "نامي" تعيلي والمشكلة أنها كانت تتعاطى الممنوعات، ذات يوم طردوها من العمل فأخذتني على دار الأيتام الأسوأ في العالم ،وهناك تلاقيت بصديق لا مثل له صديق الطفولة هايناتو الذي كان ضمادا لجروحي وأنه كان السبب بهروبي من الدار حتى أننا افترقنا في منتصف خطته للهروب ثم أني خرجت في مزرعة بيت لصديق قديم لمدير الدار وصاحب هذا البيت كان السبب برجوعي إلى الدار هو أخبر الحراس بوجودي في البيت وبعدها أخذتني عصابة دار الأيتام إلى المزاد العلني لبيعي فأنقذني رجل وهايناتو في آخر لحظة كان معهما رجال الشرطة ألقت القبض على العصابة وعلمت أن ذاك الرجل هو .... هو (.....) وكان لقاء بعد غياب طويل لكن لم تدم الفرحة طويلا ذهبنا على المطعم لتناول العشاء إذ بجريمة قتل داخل المطعم أخرج ذاك القاتل المسدس من جيبه ثم... ألقت الشرطة القبض عليه وبعد ثلالثة عشر عام وبعد ما أصبحنا أنا وهايناتو محققين ذهبنا في مغامرة إلى غابة وهي أخطر غابة لأن من يذهب إليها لا يعود عند وصولنا إليها مررنا في مصاعب كبيرة إلى أن هايناتو مات أمام عيني وها هو رأسه أمامي .
