معالم في طلب العلم: ذكر المؤلف في هذا الكتاب بعض المعالم المهمة لكل طالب علمٍ ليهتدي بها في طريقه في طلبه للعلم؛ من ناحية إخلاصه، وهمته في الطلب، وما ينبغي أن يكون عليه خُلُق طالب العلم مع نفسه، وأهله، ومشايخه، وأقرانه، وما يجب عليه من الصبر في تحمل المشاق والصعاب في تعلُّم العلم وحمل هذه الأمانة، وعرَّج على وجوب الدعوة بهذا العلم تأسيًا بالنبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم -، وختم رسالته بتذكير طلبة العلم ببعض المواقف والأقوال للسلف الصالح - رحمهم الله - لتكون مناراتٍ تُضِيء الطريق لديهم.
