ولأنّي افترضتُ أنّي عشتُ: آتّخذتُ من أوّلٍ الأحلامَ مُـدبِّراتٍ لشؤوني الشّخصيّة واليوميّةِ توحي إليّ بما أفكّر بهِ، وكيف أعيشُ(آمِلاً). حتّى بعد أن خيضَت بي أربعُ حروب طاحناتٍ إلى آخرهِ..؛ ظلّت هذه الأحلامُ حتّى نهايةِ عيشي تـزيِّنُ لي أنّ الآمال هي من تنتصرُ في النّهايةِ!. قد لا يكون ما ذهبتُ إليهِ مدهشاً أو حتّى ملفتاً للنّظر، إذ إنّ الفاشلينَ أمثالي من الذين فوّضوا إلى الأحلام عيشَهم يكادون لا يُعَدّون ولا يُحصون. ولأنّي لم أعِش حتّى محلوماً بي أو مُنتبَهاً إليّ من قِبل أيّما سعادةٍ ما، رأيتُ أنّ عيشي الفاسد المخرَّبَ بالأحلام هذا يستحقّ عن جدارةٍ الذّكرَ، لا لشيء إلّا لأصفّهُ إلى جانبنا نحن طابورَ الفاشلينَ الطّويلَ صفَّ مُتشفٍّ مع سائر العُيوش من أمثاله، على أملِ أن لا يُحسَبَ فيما بعدُ عليّ عَيشاً!. وفيما تصطفّ أحلامُنا إلى جانبنا هي الأخرى في طابور طويلٍ، تُـرى آمالنا البسيطةُ تلك مُبعثراتٍ مبهدَلاتِ الثيابِ منكَّساتِ الرّؤوس.
