في تلك الرواية يسرد لنا البحر عن “عاصي” ومأساة افتقاده لحبيبته “ورد” وشعوره القاتل نحوها بالحنين. هو رجل أهلكه
الحب حقًا، لكنه لسبب لا يعلمه إستمر متمسكًا بالأمل حتى اللحظة الأخيرة.
وفي تلك الرواية أيضًا يروي لنا البحر عن “ليل”، هذه البنت الغجرية الجميلة وسرها الأضخم الذي أخفته عن العالم أجمع.
حتى بعدما التقت “عاصي” واعترفا لبعضهما بجميع شي. سوى ذاك السر الذي يقلب الموضوعات عامتها
تتداخل القصص عامتها في لحظة واحدة، ويبقى الموج وحده شاهدًا على كل منها، يبتلع الفرح مع الوجع مع الندم.. ليصيغ لنا
رواية نادرة عن الحب والحنين والأمل الضائع.
