كانت دقات قلبها سريعة كسرعة خطواتها الثابتة شعرت وكأن الهواء حولها على وشك النفاذ . حاولت عدم إصدار أي صوت وهي تتغلغل في حارة قديمة مظلمة إلا من أنوار بعض المصابيح المعلقة هنا وهناك ..(لا بأس ) همست محاولة تهدئة أنفاسها فلن تشكل دماء الجرح في كاحلها عقبة أمامها وسط كل هذه الظلمة .
عليها أن تفر .. عليها أن تهرب لكي تتخلص من دوامة الشعور بالذنب الذي ما لبث أن تحول إلى عذاب .. أتهرب خوفا منه؟ أم خوفا عليه؟ أم أن الأمر بعيدا كل البعد عن كل هذا! هي فقط تريد الفرار والإختباء ، تريد الإختفاء من هذا العالم القذر . إلى متى ستظل تهرب هكذا ،كانت حياتها عبارة عن سلسلة من الهروب والفقد الواحدة تلو الأخرى ،هي بعملها هذا تفقد أمانها وعائلتها من جهة وتفقد الرجل الذي تعلمت منه كيف يكون الحب من جهة أخرى ..
