بين عقولُنا وقلوبُنا صِراع ما أن يبدأ لاينتهي وتخرج أنتَ مِنه بقلبِكَ وعقلِكَ ونفسكَ خاسرًا بغض النظر عن المُنتصِر، فإما أن تخسر مبادِئك ومنطِقك، وإما أن تخسر سعادتك وعاطِفتك؛ فالعقل سيد الموجودات في حياتِنا والمُتحكم بِأفعالنا وتصرفاتنا؛ أما القلب فهو سيد المشاعر والعواطف، وهو مُستشارُنا فَبِهِ نُحب ونكره، نحزن ونفرح، بِهِ نشعُر وبِهِ نحنواْ فهوَ المُتحكِم الأول والأخير في عالم أحاسيسنا فهذا ما خُلِقَ مِن أجله، وهذا ما يوجب أن يُوظف له.
