كتاب قصة مدينة بيت لحم تأليف د. وليد مصطفى، مدينة فلسطينية، ومركز محافظة بيت لحم. تعرضّت المدينة للغزو الفارسيّ عام 614م، وفي سنة 648م دخلت المدينة تحت الحكم الإسلاميّ، وزارها الصّحابيُّ عُمرُ بن الخطاب وقت الفتح، وعاش أبناء الديانتين الإسلامية والمسيحية بروح التآخي والتعاون والحرية.
عاشت مدينةُ بيتَ لحم عهداً مزدهراً، نشيطاً تجارياً، مُستتبّاً أمنيّاً؛ فقد أُطلِقت الحريّات، ورُمّمت الكنائس وأماكن العبادة في عهد هارون الرشيد، والدّولة الفاطميّة، وفي عام 1917م دخلت المدينة تحت النّفوذ البريطانيّ، ثم وقعت المدينة تحت الاحتلال الإسرائيليّ عام 1967م.
