بعد سفر آدم وليلى إلى برلين، تقرر سلمى إغلاق الدور الرابع في المكتبة بباب حديدي، لأنها تسمع كل ثلاثاء في الخامسة أصوات غريبة.
تكتشف أن المكتبة لم تكن 3 أدوار فقط، بل كان هناك دور رابع مخفي تم بناؤه عام 1947 وحُبست فيه كاتبة شابة اسمها "فريدة" كتبت رواية عن حب ممنوع، وماتت قبل أن تكمل الصفحة 47 من روايتها.
فريدة لم تمت.. روحها ظلت 79 سنة منتظرة من يكمل قصتها.
والآن اختارت سلمى لتكون هي من تكمل الصفحة الأخيرة.. بالدم.
