- وُلِدَ الشاعرُ عبد الله سرمد الجميل في المَوْصِلِ عامَ 1993،
- تخرَّجَ في كليةِ طِبِّ نينوى عام 2017،
- صدرَ له ديوانُ ( نازحون بأجنحة النوارس ) عن دارِ ( سطور ) في بغدادَ عامَ 2017 وفازَ عنه بجائزةِ ( السنوسي ) السعوديّةِ كأفضلِ مجموعةٍ شعريّةٍ من بينِ 87 ديواناً مشاركاً من الوطنِ العربيِّ،
- صدرَ لهُ ديوانُ ( قصائد من الموصل ) عن دارِ ( نينوى ) في دمشقَ عامَ 2019،
- فازَ بجائزةِ ( فوانيس الأمل ) لشعراءِ العراقِ الشبابِ وتُرجِمَت
قصيدتُهُ الفائزةُ إلى اللغةِ الإنكليّزيّةِ والكرديّةِ،
- حازَ المركزَ الأوّلَ في مسابقةِ النورِ الإبداعيةِ – الدورةِ السابعةِ عن فئةِ الشعرِ العموديِّ 2019،
- حازَ المركزَ الثالثَ في مسابقةِ شاعرِ أمِّ الربيعينِ 2018،
- حازَ المركزَ الخامسَ في مسابقةِ القصّةِ القصيرةِ لمَجلَّةِ ( العربيّ ) وأذيعَتْ في إذاعةِ ( مونتي كارلو )،
- تُرجِمَتْ بعضُ قصائدهِ إلى الفرنسيّةِ في مَجلَّةِ ( مشارف ) التونسيةِ،
- نُشِرَتْ قصائدُهُ في جرائدَ وصحفٍ ومَجلّاتٍ عربيّةٍ مختلفةٍ،
- شاركَ في مِهرجاناتٍ أدبيةٍ وثقافيّةٍ وشعريّةٍ وفنيّةٍ عديدةٍ،
- كُتِبَتْ عن تجرِبتِهِ مقالاتٌ نقديّةٌ.
