نصوص المجموعة القصصيّة (قربان الكورونا) كتبت في فترة زمنيّة قصيرة نسبيًّا، جاءت فترة الحظر المنزليّ على كافّة فئات المجتمع بعد تفشّي الوباء على نطاقات واسعة، اتّخذت السّلطات في معظم الدّول إجراءات صارمة في الحفاظ على الصّحة العامّة لمواطنيها. وكان الأردنّ سبّاقًا على الصّعيد العالميّ في هذا المجال.
العزلة الإجباريّة أخذت أبعادًا جديدة، واقعٌ فُرض على الجميع بأضراره وفوائده. بالنسبة لي ككاتب فالعزلة ضروريّة لإتاحة مساحة للخلوة التأمليّة، وقد أطقت عليها في بعض النّصوص (المرحلة الحرائيّة)، ومن فضل الله أنجزتُ هذه المجموعة القصصيّة بعنوان (قربان الكورونا)، بينما ركّزت على عنوان مركزيّ لجميع النصوص (أدب العزلة في زمن الكورونا)، وذلك من أجل تعميق المفهوم، وجعله مصطلحًا في سوق الأدب، سيكون له شأنًا في المستقبل، ويحظى بالدراسات النقديّة لتأصيل المفهوم، وطبيعة المرحلة الحرجة التي مرّ بها الكون أجمع بأممه المختلفة.
