يُفرد هذا الكتاب صفحاته للحديـث عن فريضة الصَّلاة وأحكامها بأسلوب مبسَّط وميسَّر لتـأتى كلماته حديثا واعيا للقـلب والعلم ولغـة سهلة للعمل والتَّطبيـق معـا، عندما تضمَّنت صفحاته ما يحتاجه البيت المسلم لتصحيح أداء أفراده لتلـك الفريضة السَّامية، وما ينـبغى تحصيلـه لخُشوعها عن علم ووعى دقيق بأحكامها الشَّرعية فى عبارة سهلة تمكِّن المطَّـلع عليها من الاستيعاب والفهـم وإدراك المقصود.
فجاء الحديث فى الباب الأول عن الصَّلاة وتعريفها وسرِّ مشروعيَّتها وما ورد فى القرآن الكريم عن فرضيَّتها وما أنذر الله بـه تاركيها، وأورد فى الباب الثَّانى حديثا طيِّبـا عن شُروطها وما يسبقها من الطَّهارة والأذان والإقامـة، ثم ينتقل الكتاب بقارئـه بعد ذلـك إلى الصَّلاة وكيفيَّتها وفرائضها ونوافلها والأوقات المنهى عن الصَّلاة فيها وقضاء الفوائت منها والأذكار التى بعدها.
وفى أسلوب سهل يتـناول الكتـاب أحكام الصَّلوات المسنونـة كالفطـر والأضحى وقيام رمضان وسجدتى السَّهو، ثم يتحدَّث عن المساجد وما يلحق بالسَّعى إليها من واجبات، وصلاة الجمعة والجـماعة وما يخصُّهما من أحكام، ثم تأتى الإشارة إلى ما يتعلَّق بالصَّلاة من آداب وما يُبـاح فيها وما يُكـره، وكذلك مُبطلاتها والمواضع المنهى عن الصَّلاة فيها تعريفا بالأحكام وإدراكا للبيـان.
وفى الباب السَّادس والأخير يطوِّف بنـا الكتاب فى سعادة غامرة ليحدِّثنا عن الخُشوع فى الصَّلاة وما يحقَّقه فى حياة المسلم من فوز وفلاح، وعن خطورة ترك الصَّلاة التى هى فرض عين على كل مسلم ومسلمة، وعن وساوس الشَّيطان وما به يمكن التحرُّز من شروره.
ورغم بساطة عرض الكتاب وشرحه لأحكامه بأسلوب سهل وممتع إلا أنّــه قدِّم فى بلاغة وإيجـاز ليساعد المبتدئ على الفَهم والإدراك، وبالجملة فإنَّ مـادتـه جديـرة بأن تقتنى وحقيق بأن تقـرأ وتسمع وتدرس، والله تعالى نسـال أن ينفـع بـه قارئـه وسامعـه ومعلمه إنَّـه سميع مجيب.
