كانت عادتي في صفحة (صفحات من النحو واللغة) أن أنشر يوميا مقولات عن النحو وفضائله فذكرت من المقالات في ضرورته عموما وتحتمه لتعلم علوم الشرع خصوصا، بل بشاعة اللحن عند أهل الفضل واشمئزازهم منه وكيف كانوا يثورون لسماعهم لحنة لاحن!، وكيف صار الجهل بالنحو سببا للزيغ عن جادة الصواب، ذلك العلم الذي استثقله بعض الناس فانبرى العلماء لتبيين سهولته لمن صدق النية في تعلمه، كثيرا ما تغنى الشعراء بالنحو في شعرهم مادحين ومنهم من اقتبس مصطلحاته ليضفي رونقا بيانيا رائعا على قصيدته لتكون في أشد الازديان!، هذا النحو الذي لم يسلم من هجاء الهجائين بل من أهل العلم من قلل من شأنه وأخطأ في حقه، كل هذا كان في هذا العلم الذي ملأ الدنيا وشغل الناس، فجمعت كل هذا مما نشرته على الصفحة هنا لتكون رسالة صغيرة لطيفة يتسلى بها دارس النحو ويعرف قيمة ما يدرس ويحذر ممن بخس هذه القيمة حتى يكون على بينة من أمره وعلى بصيرة من طريقه.
