تتحدث رواية( في مهب الرصاص) عن حياة مجموعة فتيات في الثانوية قبل الحرب في سوريا وبعدها. وكيف انعكست تلك الحرب على شخصياتهم وسلوكهم وأحلامهم. بطلة الرواية، ريم تقع في حب إحدى الشبان والذي يدعى يوسف والذي سرعان ما يطلب للخدمة الإلزامية ليبدأ الصراع حول الشر والخير. تحدى يوسف وريم الجميع وما هي إلا فترة قصيرة حتى استطاعا الزواج وبعد خبر حمل ريم اختفى يوسف في ظروف غامضة ما دفع ريم للهرب إلى السويد مع جنينها.
